Punxsutawney Phil and Staten Island Chuck did not see their
shadow this morning indicating that Spring is around the corner. But here in Colorado , Lake Dillon
Diane did. I am sure the skiers want six more weeks of winter. While it wasn’t
a Blue Bird morning, it was a partly sunny morning. Temps started in the mid
teens and climbed into the mid thirties by 12 noon. After lunch, we went to Georgetown and watched the
car racing on the frozen lake. There were a lot of activities going on. Besides
the car racing, people were ice fishing and sail boating. Not sure they were
able to do this last year because it was only half frozen. After watching all
of the events, we traveled back up the mountain and returned in time to go to
The Sauce for dinner. The weather forecast continues to call for mild temps but
a 10% of light snow on Wednesday.
