We woke up to cloudy skies but no new snow. The local
weather report was now reporting that the storm would effect locations west of Vail Pass.
This meant that Vail and Beaver Creek resorts would receive the most snow. But
around 8am, a light snow started and continued into the afternoon. A total of
about 4 inches was received. A far cry from the 12-18 inches that was expected
yesterday. We went to Keystone to ski in the fresh power which was a lot of
fun. Skiing in fresh power however takes a lot of energy. We only lasted only
about 1 ½ hours. As we were coming down the trail, the snow stopped and BLUE
skies opened up. However it only lasted about 10 minutes. We returned home and
rested up to for to the Arapahoe café for Burger Night. After having dinner, we
returned home and went to bed early to hopefully get an early start in the
morning.
